Trail # 201
Description
Trail #201 begins at the small parking area and trailhead on the west side of Hwy 201.
Just behind the red gate, the trail begins as an old logging road. About 100 yards ahead,
the trail turns left and becomes tight and twisty through a stand of pines for a short
distance before re-emerging on the logging road. This short Beginner Level trail is good
for a 'warm-up' loop for more experienced riders, as well as a fun introduction to
Singletrack for the novice rider, and for those enjoying short easy woodland walks. A
section of the trail follows the Lake Norfork shoreline at the mouth of Pigeon Creek, and
beavers going about the business of construction is a common sight.
Trails #202 and #203 both intersect this trail.
