Our Location
Whispering Woods Cabins overlook some of the most beautiful scenery in America: the
Ozark Mountains; Norfork Lake; the North Fork River Valley; and the most beautiful sunsets
- like the one shown below. Our clean, comfortable, rustic cabins are located on the quiet
side of Lake Norfork in the Arkansas Ozark Mountains. Fish, boat, swim, scuba dive, hike,
hunt, shop, or tour. Its all close by, and our rates are reasonable.
We're located one mile above Norfork dam and Norfork Lake about 15 minutes south of
Mountain Home, Arkansas. One of America's top five tailwater trout fisheries, the North
Fork river, begins at Norfork dam. The confluence of the North Fork & White Rivers is
also minutes away.
Area Recreation
Clean, clear Norfork Lake provides great lake fishing, boating, and swimming. It is
also a popular Scuba diving and spear fishing destination. We are within minutes of North
Fork and White River trout docks, two lake marinas, and a fully equipped Scuba shop.
If you are interested in the out-of-doors; fishing, boating,
hiking, ATVing etc., it is all at our doorstep! And there is lots more to see and do. Take
easy day trips to attractions like . . .

Our Lodge, Restaurant, & Cabins
Our lodge has a 36-foot long porch with big rocking chairs,
outside tables, and a great lake view. Inside there is a fireplace and our restaurant -
Whispering Woods Grill. Join us 5 days a week for lunch or dinner. Our specialties include
Certified Angus Beef Steaks, walleye, wild Alaskan salmon, jumbo shrimp, surf & turf,
barbecue and smoked meats, fresh salads, and homemade soups and desserts. We feature a
nightly special that is really something special. The food is great and the prices are
reasonable.
Our cabins are individual fully furnished housekeeping units.
They have full size ranges, refrigerators, microwaves, coffee pots, toasters, dishes,
cooking utensils, linens, color TV, air conditioning, and heat. Each cabin has it's own
charcoal grill and picnic table. And all cabins have Queen beds! One of our lakeview
cabins is now completely handicap accessible. There are swings, a big sandbox for the
kids, and a stone firepit for your evening marshmallow roasts.

Fishing Guide Services
Fish the Lake or the Rivers or both! If you are looking for a trophy striper,
Norfork Lake is the place. We provide whatever tackle and bait is working at the time and
our Lund Pro V has a deep-V hull for your safety. If it’s trout you want, we fish the
North Fork River, as well as the famous White River. Our Guide will make it an experience
you will never forget. Our prices are affordable and we offer a 10% discount with 2-night
cabin rental. All bait and tackle included. |

Pets are welcome with prior approval. $10 per pet per night.
Check-in 3:00 p.m. Check-out 11:00 a.m.
Reservations: Require a deposit equal to one nights stay (or more depending on
number of nights reserved).
Cancellations With two weeks notice, your deposit will be refunded, less a
$25 fee, if we are able to fill the cabin for the full period you reserved.
