Ideal For Family Reunions
Wagon Wheel Resort is ideal for family reunions, especially for those who prefer a cottage but have relatives who like to camp out. We are 1/4 mile from Bidwell Point campground. Relatives of guests are welcome to use the resort playground, enjoy volleyball, shuffleboard, horseshoes, or shoot baskets. And of course they'll be welcome at your cookouts! Children and adults enjoy the yard because it gently slopes and is well shaded by tall hardwood trees.

The Wagon Wheel Resort is on Hwy. 101, just 1/4 mile north of the 101 bridge and Bidwell Point Park swimming beach. Located 10 miles from Mountain Home, Arkansas; 230 miles from St. Louis, MO; 280 miles from Kansas City, MO; 265 miles from Tulsa, OK; 190 miles from Little Rock, AR; 550 miles from O'Hare Airport, IL; and a 30 minute drive from Baxter County Regional Airport, which offers commuter and charter flights.

Area Attractions
Enjoy your family vacation just relaxing or take advantage of the many attractions within a short drive. Mountain Home has many restaurants, entertainment, shopping, and state of the art medical facilities. Visit Blanchard Springs Caverns, Ozark Folk Center, Mountain Village 1890, Wolf House, Bull Shoals Caverns, Top of the Ozark Tower, or Dawt Mill. Canoe the White, Norfork, or Buffalo Rivers. Visit Eureka Springs, or area craft and antique shops. You can also go horseback riding, play golf on your choice of two area 18-hole golf courses, go bowling, take the children for video games or miniature golf. Many of our guest's children enjoy an old-fashioned game of hide and seek and a romp on our lawn.
