Why Do Our Repeat Customers Prefer The Wagon Wheel Resort?
They tell us it's a combination of Wagon Wheel's relaxing atmosphere, the vistas of Lake Norfork from our large screened porches, and the convenience of our location. Our guests frequently refer to how clean and well maintained our roomy cottages are.  Others talk about our gently rolling 4 acres that form our large back yard with its towering hardwoods. There's plenty of activity space and parking for boat trailers with many outside outlets for battery charging. Many enjoy sunbathing or swimming from our private dock floating in a quiet pristine cove below the resort. Fishing, hunting, scuba diving, boating, sailing - you'll enjoy them even more when you start from Wagon Wheel Resort.

Clean, Roomy Cottages
Our housekeeping cottages have kitchenettes fully equipped with cooking utensils, microwaves, coffeemakers, toasters, cable TV, air conditioners, heat, ceiling fans, and all linens for bed and bath.  All cottages have large screened porches except #5. The screened porches look across our large back yard right at the main channel of Lake Norfork. The porches have tables and comfortable chairs so you can sit and play cards, talk, eat, or just enjoy a cool Ozark breeze. Outside we have Weber grills, BBQ utensils and mitts, picnic tables, and hammocks. Our large back yard is a great place for gatherings of all kinds. Even the deer like to come and feed in Wagon Wheel's backyard in the evenings!

The Dock
What a place to relax! Fish, swim, read a book, or just nap to the tune of nature. The Dock is the place to make a quick and easy get-away for a few hours. Like to go fishing with a good guide? We know who they are and we'll be glad to arrange a trip for you with them. The guides will pick you up at the dock or one of the close-by marinas. Boat rentals are located within 2 miles if you want to water ski, fish, or cruise the lake. There's 550 miles of shoreline offering unlimited watersports and year-round fishing for bass, walleye, stripers, catfish, crappie and bream. The best fishing is October through May. There is a lighted fish cleaning station at the resort.

For Hunters
There's abundant deer, turkey, duck, quail, dove, squirrel, and rabbit hunting. Hunting season runs between September through February.

Policies
Overnight guests are an additional charge.  Rates are for 6 nights, the 7th day is free. A $75 deposit is required for 4 nights or less. A $100 deposit is required for 5 nights or more. Deposit due within one week of reservation. Balance due upon arrival. You will be charged for the total days reserved. Deposit refunded only if re-rented.
