The Cove houses rest in a little valley surrounded by ridges forested in hardwood stands. The yards and the three acre meadow create an open space that puts you just the right distance from the trees. You'll enjoy both wooded and open views, including a cove view of Norfork Lake. And you don't see any other buildings. The meadow and forests are inhabited by song birds, deer, wild turkey, and other small creatures. Our Store and Office
Located at the office is a little store where you can pick up those items you might have ran out of or forgotten to pack. Hunting and fishing licenses are available along with food, tackle and bait. We have maps of the lake and surrounding area to help you find your way. If you wish to hire a fishing guide, there are many on the lake and we can help find the right one for you. If you have a pet you wish to bring with you on vacation, we are one of the few resorts on the lake that accept your small pets.

Resort Grounds
On the grounds of the resort, we offer a swimming pool where the family can sun bath or swim. There is a volleyball / badminton court, a playground that is set up in a large sand box, basketball hoop, and horseshoe pits. We have games for the kids and books for mom available to use at any time. There is a covered pavilion area for visiting, and plenty of room to run and play for your children. There's always a good chance of seeing some local wildlife.

Norfork Lake and a full service marina are one minute away.

Dining and Local Activities
There are many fine restaurants locally and in the town of Mountain Home, which is only 16 miles from the resort. We can give directions and suggestions to help you decide. There is fast food, fine food and casual restaurants (some with great views of the lake). Lake Norfork is a beautifully clear lake, good for fishing and water sports. Water-skiing, tubing, jet skiing, jumping off the cliffs, scuba diving, or just swimming in the clear water, whatever your pleasure, we are sure you will enjoy Lake Norfork.

Other Things To Do While Visiting
You might want to take one day to see the surrounding sights and attractions of the Ozarks. You’ll find golf courses in Mountain Home (one which is tournament level). There's miniature golf, too. There are movie theaters and many craft and antique shops close by. You'll find float trips on the Norfork and White Rivers, The Norfork Dam and Fish Hatchery is about 30 minutes away. We are only 50 minutes from historical Old Hardy town. The Ozark Folk Center in Mountain View, AR and Blanchard Springs Caverns are about an hour drive. About two hours away are Branson, Missouri, music shows, Silver Dollar City, White Water, Shepherd of the Hills, and Eureka Springs (a craft heaven). There are hiking trails and trails for 4-wheelers, too. We can help direct you to any one of these fun filled places.

Wildlife Around Eagles Rest
The wildlife around the Ozarks is plentiful. We have deer come into our backyard all times of the year, day or night. Wild turkeys are found wandering the woods and shorelines of the lake. One especially nice thing about this area of the Ozarks is, THERE ARE VIRTUALLY NO MOSQUITOES. You can sit outside after dark and not be bothered by them. If you are the angler in your family, you will be interested in the types of fish that can be caught in Lake Norfork. Stripers are one of the biggest fishing attractions, but there are also walleye, largemouth and smallmouth bass, white bass, crappie, catfish, sunfish and bluegill in the lake. Because the lake does not freeze, fishing is popular all year and the season never closes.
